This website was created for Angela Benson, AKA Living Her Best Life. Angela is a YouTuber and social media influencer. She wanted a website where she could write a blog, feature her work and have her weekly YouTube videos uploaded. I created this website by building a custom theme in WordPress. I created the site so that it was easy for Angela to add and edit content in the backend of WordPress without having to deal with any code. The website is vibrant and designed to complement Angela’s style and aesthetic.

Process:

Right off the bat, Angela had a very specific vision in mind for her website. She provided references to sites she liked and colour palettes to choose from. It was great to work with Angela and bring her ideas to life. After a few meetings together, I designed the site with Adobe XD. Once approved by Angela, I created the theme and uploaded it to WordPress. Angela was particularly happy to see her YouTube videos would upload automatically to the site after she posts them on YouTube. Finally, I gave her tutorials on how she could maintain her website and add content overtime if wanted.
