Logo Design & Intro Animation

This logo was created for Stephanie Zed who makes how to crochet videos on YouTube. She has become very popular over the last few years and wanted a logo for her social media accounts. She also wanted an animation to play at the beginning of her videos.

Process:

I began with designing thumbnails and sketching out ideas. Stephanie wanted the logo to highlight the tools used in crocheting. I created the tools but also wanted to highlight her. I added the S and made the backing circle to represent yarn but also a subtle “Z” for her last name. I originally created this logo with a pink hue, but Stephanie had a vision for purple. Once the logo was completed I brought it into Adobe After Effects to animate.
